Li-ion battery packs provide high energy density but with a concern of thermal management. Hence cooling mechanism is necessary to have good life and reliability on the system. The main objective this article investigate effect conjugate non-conjugate boundary conditions pack heat transfer characteristics. In conditions, coolant flow considered flux continuity at fluid interface. condition, just convection condition adopted. finite volume method adopted for numerical analysis, code written computations governing equations. Effects different parameters like generation, conductivity ratio, coolants, Biot number temperature distribution in are analyzed. maximum contours located near top end battery, whereas bottom end, battery's low. Such low-temperature regions create uneven stresses, resulting failure. To better performance results system, one should maintain proper balance between solid domains. From comparative analysis it found that gives be symmetrical nature more uniform. Practically, not true which confirmed by realistic where zones closer trailing edge pack. Liquid metals nanofluids much safer operating well below critical temperature. application leads an insight hotspot accurately operated using conventional fluids mentioned work.
